Olive Tree in Guelph

Hands down, the BEST Mediterranean cuisine in Guelph. Olive Tree is always the first place I recommend to people when I’m asked about the best places to eat in the area. The price of the meals are very reasonable and the portions leave you feeling nothing less than satisfied. In addition, the menu is quite diverse but caters to the demands of picky eaters and children simultaneously through the offerings of chicken wings, garlic bread, salad, and pizza with a variety of toppings to choose from. I would describe Olive Tree as one of Guelph’s “hidden gems”. Employees are extremely friendly and have provided fast and quality service during each of my visits. Try it out! I promise you won’t regret it.

Better than most places in guelph, should be rated higher than all these dumpy shawarma or chinese spots.

While my shawarma was okay, the calamari looked bad and upon tasting it it was chewy and rubbery as if it were old. There was more rice than meat in the shawarma as well. Not only this but my order arrived 2hrs after I ordered, which was over an hour past the estimated delivery time. After 20 minutes had passed on the estimated delivery time I phoned in to see if it was just due to being busy on new years eve and was told "sorry I can't hear you this is a crappy phone, call back later" and my question wasn't even answered. When the delivery finally came, I was told they had missed my order. Would have been nice to have some kind of compensation for this but as I prepaid (usually do this to make things easier on the driver) I had to pay full amount. I can safely say I will never order from here again. Food poisoning and horrible service.

Burnt rice and a little burnt gyros, over dressed watery salad, odd tasting tzatziki and long wait times are some of the issues at the Olive Tree. Ordered a meal to eat in and was not impressed. It was satisfying but feel like its not worth the time or money unless you are really craving Greek food or pizza in the area.

Wish there was more lettuce in the salads, but consistent and tasty!

Good food for a good price with good serving size and good service. Solid place for eats.

Great food , great people , favourite Mediterranean in Guelph

Terrible food, terrible customer experience. THIS is how they make their food. That's their "poutine" and "chicken buffalo wrap". I tried getting a refund and they would only offer me a discount the next time I order from them. Like dude, if your food looks like this I never want to come here again! On the phone the guy admitted to using frozen chicken cutlets for their chicken wrap and frozen fries with some shredded cheese. I paid 21 bucks for this GARBAGE in total from delivery costs! I kid you not I literally threw what little food I ate from there. I felt ripped off. Avoid at all costs.

Always fresh and quality ingredients. Portions are LARGE. Tried the new lamb shank once and it is very good. Not many people know about it. Can’t go wrong with chicken souvlaki platter or pita as well. And Greek salad dressing is amazing. Hard to find quality food at a price like this.

Food was really great!I got the chicken shawarma and my wife got a small pizza. The portion were significant and the everything was delicious. We got the pastries with cheese and spinach (I won’t try to spell the name). Overall great experience.

Olive Tree has to be the BEST Mediterranean cuisine hands down. They give you great portions and the food is delicious. When you get your food it looks like it’s straight out of a magazine. Plus they have a huge menu and the workers there are really polite and efficient. I recommend olive tree to everyone. If you haven’t eaten there yet you are missing out

The best chicken souvlaki in Guelph by far and I have tried everywhere there is to try in Guelph.

This place has a great shawarma plate. Great price and very nice staff. They've also got a fairly large menu. I'd highly recommend them for Mediterranean food. I will be back there again to try their pizza next!

Their food is delicious. The prices are a bit higher but you get a massive portion. In my opinion its worth it!

The first two times I got takeout there, it was great. I went there Saturday May 16th and the first thing I noticed was that there were two kids/young adults working there (unlike my previous two visits). The calamari (which I've had before) was disgustingly greasy and SALTY. The roast lamb was also very salty and strangely sweet, not at all what Greek roast lamb should taste like. Not sure if I'll return.

Had the falafel entree and my fiance had the lamb chops. Was incredibly happy with the service, portion sizes and flavour! The lemon potatoes were fantastic, and both entrees were delicious. We ate in and the bistro was clean and comfortable, and the food came out in reasonable time. Very happy with our meals and the gentleman behind the counter was courteous and keen to make sure we were happy with our meals. Will definitely come again!

Great place and great deliveries. If your in Guelph and want good food at an affordable pricing than this is recommended for shawarma poutine, different authentic Mediterranean wraps and great tasting lamb. Food prep could be better from time to time but still a great place to check out.

Fantastic food and great service. The value is great, too - fresh food, big portions, and consistently well made. They recently updated their website to a super user-friendly online ordering system, and they're so fast whether you get delivery or pick up. I have never had a bad experience with these folks and I eat here quite often. Olive Tree is in my Top 5 restaurants in Guelph - and it's takeout! It's seriously that good.

Great spot for a quick takeout or even if you want to sit down. It's a bit of a hidden gem but amazing food & service. Highly recommend.

Let me tell you about Olive Tree. This Mediterranean Bistro is a go to spot for Lunch, Dinner and late night snacks. Staff is extremely friendly and aim to please every customer that comes by. Their entrée meals are fantastic and I would recommend to anybody looking an authentic Greek exp.

Great variety of food, always tastes great, and always done well, not to mention open late. Can’t ask for much more.

Got delivery and it was absolutely delicious. Definitely the most flavorful Greek food I've had in Guelph

While I received a really awful pizza that would have killed a vampire, the owner reached out directly to me to apologize and offered me a replacement pizza. I will update again further if it is a really good pizza this time.

What a halal gem in Guelph! Halal Greek food is so hard to find...and this place is the best I’ve ever had. The potatoes, the meat to rice portion, THE WINGS...AND THE TZATZIKI WERE PERFECT!!!

Absolutely delicious shawarma dinners. I haven't gotten anything else because I wouldn't be able to pass up the opportunity. Potatoes are a must. Fresh and plentiful salad. A true pleasure of Guelph.

Must go place for Mediterranean food! Portions are large and the food is always fresh.They serve authentic Greek salad with homemade dressing and the potatoes are a must try! Have been a regular customer and will continue to visit for an amazing meal.

Great food, slow service.. Guys were working their butts off, but I had an order placed for pickup, and had to wait 25 min after pickup time.

The food quality is going down recently, ordered family plate, the meat was burnt and dry.. am so disappointed..plus the customer service is the worst ever there!
